Student positions available
Customer Service and Receiving positions are available at the Bookstore throughout the summer. Applicants must be current full time undergraduate students or must be planning to pursue full time undergraduate studies in the fall semester. Please submit your resume to bkstore@mun.ca; if currently registered please include a copy of your current class schedule.

Summer hours
Our summer operating hours begin Monday, June 3. We will be open from Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 4:15 pm.
Closing notice
The bookstore will be closed on Monday, May 20, 2013 for the Victoria Day holiday. We will close on Friday, May 17 at 4:45 pm and reopen on Tuesday, May 21 at 8:30 am.
Textbook Refund Deadline Dates
Textbooks may be returned for a full refund within ten (10) working days from date of purchase, up until the "25% refund of tuition fees" drop date for each semester.
The drop dates for Spring/Summer 2013 are:
Intersession 2013 --- May 20, 2013
Spring Semester 2013 --- June 3, 2013
Summer Session 2013 --- July 8, 2013
ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER THESE DATES.
All other books (local, reference, medical, children's. etc.) may be returned within three (3) working days of purchase. All other merchandise (clothing, giftware, stationary, etc.) may be returned within ten (10) working days of purchase. Please review the Bookstore Refund Policy here [PDF link].
Textbook Buyback, Spring 2013
Spring textbook buyback has now ended. The next buy back will happen in early September 2013. Dates will be posted on our website and Facebook in late August.

National Student Day Winner!
The Grand Prize winner for National Student Day (a North American event, honouring student volunteers) is Memorial University Student Sahand Seifi! The Bookstore is proud to have been a part of this event and honoured to have met Sahand who has generously donated his prize to Memorial's Student Volunteer Bureau!

Photography - Gown Rentals
The bookstore is now offering a gown rental service for students who wish to have photographs taken outside of regular convocation dates. This service is intended for photography purposes only, and is available year-round except during convocation week and the weeks before and following convocation week each semester.
We strongly suggest that you call the bookstore and confirm regalia availability for your required dates before you make an appointment with your photographer. We have a limited supply of hoods and gowns, so we might not be able to fill your request for a particular day unless you check with us beforehand.
The rental package includes one gown and one hood; mortarboard caps are available for sale separately if desired. The rental fees are as follows:
- One Day Rental - $10.00 plus $50.00 Deposit
- One Week Rental - $40.00 plus $50.00 Deposit
We require a $50.00 deposit with each rental; this will be refunded upon return of the rental package in its original condition. Payment may be made by Visa, Mastercard, debit card or cash.
To reserve your gown, please call (709) 864-7440 or print and fax/email the gown rental form to (709) 864-2405.
The cut off date for gown rentals is May 10th, 2013 (gowns may not be rented between May 11th and June 2nd). Gown rental service for photography will resume on June 3rd, 2013.

When placing an online order, please enter the CORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS.
As time constraints do not allow for us to make changes, orders will be sent to the address provided.
